Hello and welcome to our returns page. Below you will see details on what must be done in order to return items to HOT ON ! Heating Spares.
All of the heating spare parts that are provided by hot on heating spares have a standard manufactures guarantee of 12 months. This may on some occasions be longer. Please get in touch if you would like to check the period your product is guaranteed for.
If a product develops a fault within the first 12 months of purchase then you are entitled to a full credit once the product has been returned to the manufactures for inspection. Once a credit has been issued to us we will the reimburse the customer. (please note we do not cover carriage charges involved in sending the product back to us) a receipt must also be provided as proof of purchase although there may be special circumstances where we can find this on our database.
If a customer orders a product and it has been unused and still in it's original packaging then it can be returned to us for a credit which is subject to a re-stocking charge dependent on the circumstances.You have 28 days from the date of purchase to notify us and return the item. (please note we do not refund any carriage charges in sending the product back to us) a receipt must also be provided as proof of purchase although there may be special circumstances where we can find this on our database. We are unable to take any parts back that are a special order to us. Customers will be notified of this if an order placed is a special order.
Customers also have a 7 day "cooling off" period from the day they receive there goods to notify us that they would like to cancel their contract with a full refund, including any carriage charges involved. (this does not apply if the part has been fitted) This does not apply if the part is a special order.
If the customer has a "change of heart" on the item and would like to return it for credit then they must cover any delivery costs involved. However if the item is faulty then we as the supplier will cover all the delivery costs. This does not apply if thepart is a special oder.
